Our Story
The Bridges Foundation was created in 1998 with the purpose of investing in the workforce of the future. The ongoing success of our community depends in large part on our ability to develop a trained and motivated workforce that can meet the challenges of global competition.
Our Mission
To provide deserving students of Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School the ability and financial support t fulfill career aspirations.
Our Objectives
The Foundation is dedicated to supporting BAVTS and its students through these core objectives:
(A)
To provide charitable and educational aid in the form of money and other forms of property and services to the Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School and to persons, associations, and corporations associated therewith;
(C)
To encourage research and learning and the dissemination of information, relating thereto at the Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School
(B)
To promote, support, and advance education and all proper academic, technical, and extracurricular activities of the Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School, including programs and initiatives that enhance student learning and workforce readiness.
(D)
To support public higher education by promoting learning, professional development, and preparation for the various pursuits and professions of life.
