The Bridges Foundation, through in-kind and EITC donations, has and continues to support innovative instructional programs at the Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School.
Dual Enrollment
Bridges partners with local colleges, including NCC and Lafayette, to allow students to partake in dual enrollment classes. This gives students a unique opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school without having to worry about the financial burden.
Professional Skills
According to the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation’s Business and Industry Survey, one of the top needs in the workforce is employability and soft skills. The Foundation has worked with BAVTS to create a Professional Skills certification program. In this class students learn professional skills and get an official certification upon completion.
BAVTS Food Truck
The Bridges Foundation proudly purchased a food truck for BAVTS. You can find the food truck at numerous community events. If you are interested in having the BAVTS food truck at one of your events, please contact Chef Gurcsik at gurcsikj@bavts.org!
